Alyssa Gulledge, Ph.D. Dr. Gulledge joined the lab in October, 2010. Dr. Gulledge has worked in a variety of areas, including mouse genetics, nutrigenomics, cancer research, and now plant biology. In the Loraine lab, she uses her wide-ranging expertise to lead outreach and training efforts for the Integrated Genome Browser project and helps us improve and test IGB for users. An expert in quantitative expression analysis techniques, she plays a major role in analysis and validation of RNA-Seq data sets. |

April Roberts April Roberts joined the lab in 2010. She holds a degree in plant biology from N.C. State University. Her expertise includes molecular cloning techniques, RNA isolation from plant materials, and preparing cDNA libraries for sequencing. |

Hiral Vora Hiral Vora joined the lab as a graduate Research Assistant and earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science in May 2010. He then re-joined the lab as a full-time Software Engineer. Hiral has expertise in multiple areas, notably Java Web and user interface programming. Hiral contributes to several projects in the lab, including:

Phuc (Peter) Pham Peter Pham joined the lab in the summer of 2010. Peter develops the Pollen Research Coordination Network Web site and participates in the analysis of RNA-Seq experiments. Prior to joining the lab, he worked with Zhengcheng Su's lab on the GLECLUBS Web site. |

Vikram Bishnoi Vikram joined the lab in the summer of 2010, and since then has helped develop on-line movies for the Integrated Genome Browser User's Guide and has worked to update the Genoviz SDK on-line demos and tutorials. He also has contributed new features to Integrated Genome Browser. Previously, Vikram worked as a software engineer for Infosys. |

Shira Stav Shira joined the lab as a Research Assistant in the summer of 2010. Shira contributes to multiple projects in the lab, including the cytokinins project and the alternative splicing project. She also contributes to maintenance and development of the IGB User's Guide and is learning about modeling and molecular biology. |
